She's a full time cosplayer, costumer, part-time burlesque performer, and fair entertainer. She is black girl magic, the Cocoa Barbie, May Hemmer. Sewing since the age of five, she has created and performed in many visually stunning cosplays over the years. Entertaining both at convention halls and faire grounds for productions including the Carolina Renaissance Faire and The Viking Experience, May serves both character and knowledge to patrons.
